Spatial Planning map of Offshore Aquaculture

Geomatics, which is the work Package 4 leader has produced the first draft of spatial planning map of offshore aquaculture including the main physical activities around Cyprus. Some of the main features that are included in this first map are Protected areas, Areas of high interest, current aquaculture sites and bathymetry. An elimination round of areas based on physical and conservational constrains will follow. A second elimination round of areas will follow based on the feedback and input of stakeholders.
