Synergies with Interreg Med projects

OS Aqua is steady building new cooperation with Interreg Med projects. The past month members of the OS Aqua team involved in the dissemination of OS AQUA to BLUE DEAL and MISTRAL Interreg MEd projects.

Firstly Dr Nikolas Flourentzou participated to the 3rd Blue Deal Lab that took place in Cyprus at 17th of June. The event was hybrid and organized by Cyprus Energy Agency in the framework of Intereg Med Blue Deal Project. He presented the synergies that can be made in the sector of food production with blue energy. He explained targets and the aims of OS AQUA project and how the blue energy can assist offshore aquaculture to be self sustained.

Principal investigation Dr Ioannis Kyriakides presented the aims, the goals and the on-going progress of the OS Aqua project to the participants of MISTRAL - Maritime Surveillance Learning Lab Event. The event took place online on 6th of July.

Both initiatives can lead to new synergies between offshore aquaculture and maritime surveillance and blue energy sector!!!!!
